Asian Indian Ministries Outreach

Word of Life begins outreach to Asian Indians living in the Naperville area!

Emphasis will be on welcoming Asian Indian Immigrants to the area and helping them adjust to their new surroundings. 

To that end, ESL (English as a Second Language) classes began on June 5th at 6pm at the church.  These classes will run 10 weeks and are free to those attending.  Free rides and child care will also be offered.  Come and join the class on any Saturday.   

Indian Independence Day was celebrated at Word of Life on Saturday August 14th.  About 80 people attended!  It was a great time!  We enjoyed games for the children, we sang the Indian National Anthem and enjoyed traditional Indian treats!  See some of the pictures below!
