Angel Food Ministries at Word of Life Lutheran Church

Angel Food Ministires is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief to communities.  Angel Food Ministries distributes food to more than 5,200 host sites across the United States, who in turn provide boxes of food for individual familes.  A Signature Box can be purchased for $30 and depending on food prices in the area that food can retail for as much as $65.  A Signature box is designed to feed a family of 4 for 1 week.  In addition specialty boxes are also available each month these include boxes of singles of individually prepared meals. 

There are no restrictions to who can participate, the program is open to everyone.  

The Setember Menu is attached below.  Pick up for September orders is, September 25th at the church from 9:30 to 11am.  Orders can be placed now through September 19th.  Orders can be mailed in to the church at 879 Tudor Dr. Naperville, IL 60563 or brought in to the church office on Thursdays from 9 to 3:30.  Checks should be made out to Word of Life.  Credit cards may be used online only and there is a $2 surcharge added by Angelfood Ministries.  LINK Cards (food stamps) are also accepted for Angelfood Ministries.  Check out the Angel Food Ministries website at www.angelfoodministries.com.
