February 5th - "What's Your Purpose?" - Jesus took His mission seriously.  He refused a ife of comfort, instead preaching and proclaiming the Gospel and He wasn't going to let anything distract Him.  How about you?  What's your purpose?  Is it line with God's purpose for you?  What's distracting you from your purpose?  Come and join us and get re-aligned to God's purpose for your life!

February 12th - "We want it our way!"  We live in a time when we want things the way we want them!  We don't want to waste our time doing things that we don't want to do!  Afterall our time is valuable.  Yet God calls us to be humble and follow His way!  He has a plan and when all is said and done it's His plan that will prevail! 

February 19th - "Transfiguration Sunday!" Today we celebrate the time that Jesus revealed who He really was!  Before that time even the disciples didn't really know the divine nature of this man they were following.  Soon we will be in Lent, but for today we focus on the revelation that Jesus is indeed true man and true God!  Is that enough for you? 

Ash Wednesday - February 22nd - Our sermon series for our midweek Lenten services will be "The Places of the Passion!"  There will be two opportunities for midweek worship during Lent.  11:45am and 7pm.  Our evening services will be preceeded by dinner served at 6pm.

Asian Indian Ministries  Word of Life celebrated Indian Independence Day on Saturday, August 20th with about 25 people attending!  The children had fun while the parents got to know one another.  Then we shared stories of how Independence day is celebrated in India followed by the singing of the Indian National Anthem.  The evening was topped off by a sharing of the true freedom we have in Jesus Christ followed by sharing of some traditional Indian treats.  Watch for more events coming up.  Click on Asian Indian Outreach for details.
